The jews faith,trust,and illusion’s caused them to be victimized by the German’s .The jews faith was that they thought that god would save them and would never let this suffering happen to them.The jews trusted the Germans and believed they were going to a place safe from the war and they were sent to concentration camps.The jews illusion made them believe that things would get better and it wasn’t that bad.
The jews faith contributed to their own genocide by having faith in god ,the jews thought he was going to save them from the from the suffering ,they would always pray to god and have a moment were they thought they were having a conversation with god .One day Elie Wiesel saw a boy getting hung,in the text it said “But the third rope was still moving the child was too light ,was he still breathing and valuable so he remained for more than a half an hour .the boy was choking for 30 minute until he finally died”.That when Elie lost his faith in god.
The jews trusted the Germans because they believed the Germans would take them to a better place away from the war, for example in the text it said”The red army is advancing with a giant stride’s... In conclusion the jews faith ,trust and illusion got them in to trouble difficult situations as far as running to another concentration camp and country ,death,or a hospital for example ,the crematories ,the infirmary and the Gleiwitz concentration camp.
